电视纵隔镜手术(VMS)是一种操作简便、安全有效的诊疗方法,广泛应用于纵隔等胸部疾病的诊断和治疗。近些年,VMS的诊断价值受到PET-CT和超声内镜的冲击,但是在国外其临床应用仍很广泛,相关研究也不断涌现。在我国,多数医疗机构没有开展VMS,而开展的胸外科中心往往也没有充分发挥其应有的价值,因此,有必要普及电视纵隔镜的胸部诊疗技术。

Video-mediastinoscopy (VMS) is a simple, safe and effective diagnostic and therapeutic method, widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of mediastinal diseases and other thoracic diseases. In recent years, its diagnostic value has been impacted by PET-CT and endoscopic ultrasound, but the clinical application of VMS is still extensive in western countries, and related researches are constantly emerging.However, back in China, VMS is not implemented in most medical institutions, and is not effectively used even in those thoracic surgery centers.
