Progress in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease

Abstract:

Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a common symptom (or complication) caused by reflux of gastric contents. With the changes of peoples’ diet structure, the incidence of gastroesophageal reflux disease has been on the rise in recent years. Nowadays, the treatment methods for gastroesophageal reflux disease mainly include psychological intervention, drug therapy, endoscopic therapy, and surgical operation. The emergence of new technologies brings more hope for the treatment of esophageal reflux disease.
