Abstract:

Lung cancer ranks the first in the global mortality rate of malignant tumors. Although its treatment has made important progress, the prospects are still not optimistic. Late detection and diagnosis, limited treatment options, acquired drug resistance, radiation resistance and recurrence have become the key issues affecting the prognosis of lung cancer. In recent years, it has been recognized that microRNA (miRNA) plays an important role in the occurrence and progression of tumors. These small RNAs, as oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes, participate in the occurrence and development of lung cancer almost all the way, and participate in the formation of the microenvironment that affects the growth and progression of malignant tumors. At present, more and more studies have discovered and confirmed that many miRNAs participate in various signal transduction pathways in the activation of lung cancer gene expression. Therefore, the study of the correlation between miRNA and lung cancer is of vital practical significance. This article synthesizes a series of studies and reports on miRNAs related to lung cancer in recent years, expounds the role, function and related mechanisms of miRNAs in the key link of lung cancer pathogenesis, and discusses the diagnosis of miRNAs as biomarkers in lung cancer, prognostic value and potential clinical significance as a complementary treatment strategy.
