Abstract:

In recent years, with the deepness of cognition and research on early lung cancer, sublobar resection has gradually attracted the attention of thoracic surgeons. However, there are still many confusions in the surgical indications and the surgical procedure. Since we put forward the concept of "anatomic partial lobectomy (APL)" in 2014, through continuous exploration, development and summary, the concept has been proved to be a good theoretical and practical basis for sublobar resection of early lung cancer.

Key words: Anatomical partial lobectomy, Segmentectomy, Non-small cell lung cancer, Oncology surgery
