Abstract

Abstract:

In recent years, we have witnessed an increasing compliance to practice guidelines and remarkable efforts in clinical studies exploring innovative modalities in surgical treatment of thoracic diseases. Issue 1 of Chinese Journal of Thoracic Surgery in 2022 provides some most recent updates on lung cancer and esophageal cancer studies, lung transplantations, surgical techniques and perioperative management.
